Smooth away lines & wrinkles

Injectables

The difference between

Neuromodulators & Dermal Fillers

Neuromodulators are used to relax muscles to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in the face and neck. These treatments can help combat smile lines, forehead lines, and other wrinkles associated with age. The results are visible within 3-7 days and can last up to 4 months.

Whereas, dermal fillers are designed to replace lost volume to rejuvenate and lift certain sections of the face. These treatments may also soften smile lines and under-eye circles while building up cheek volume. Depending on the type of filler, the effects can last anywhere from six months to two years.

How do

Injectables work?

  • How they are used:

Neuro modulators & dermal fillers help alleviate wrinkles and other signs of aging in different regions of the face by relaxing muscles that cause wrinkles or plumping and smoothing areas. Some of the areas that can be treated are frown lines, worry lines, crow’s feet, under eyes, lips, under chin, and cheeks. They can even help reshape targeted facial areas.

  • Aging

As we grow older, our skin naturally loses some elasticity and volume—resulting in wrinkles and creases. Factors such as sun damage and genetics can also contribute to these signs of aging, causing the formation of scars, blemishes, and sunspots. Because they work in different manners, many people elect to get both neuro modulators and dermal fillers—the combination can produce a remarkably younger-looking face.

  • The procedure

After an assessment of the areas to be treated, the chosen injectable will be administered using a super-fine needle. To avoid any pain, bruising or swelling and is then injected directly into predetermined injection sites. Injection usually takes only a few moments per site. The process of injecting, massaging, and evaluating the result is performed, and additional filler added as needed. Depending on the number of areas to be treated, the whole process may be as short as 15 minutes, or as long as an hour.
